2 Week Wait

Dear Sink,

Once again, lack of updating.... Haven't updated in 6 days. Not an awful lot has been happening though.

I had that terrible cold last week and it made me really bone idle; especially where the house work is concerned. Our bedroom is a tip at the minute - I'm sure if I don't clean it before the Hubby comes home I'm going to be in trouble. On the upside; re-organised Phoenix's room yesterday; and it is nearly the way I want it to be. I really need to get rid of some toys, like 50% of them!

We had a visit from the health visitor last week - everything went well and got our second Bookstart which Phoenix and I were chuffed about. I have always been concerned about Phoenix's weight/Height as he is such a big boy - and because he doesn't stop eating. I'm scared that I'm going to make him obese. But as his height and weight are both on the 91st centile he is in perfect proportion. He's just a big, hungry boy!

For National breastfeeding awareness week I went up to the hospital - I met a woman who had twins on her fourth pregnancy. She had twin boys at 36 weeks so now has 5 boys.. The twins weighed 7lbs 9 and 7lbs 14.... for 36 weeks gestation! I was totally amazed. Women like that are just remarkable.

Talking of babies; lasts the fertile period now over and now I am concentrating on the next two weeks - really really really hoping to be pregnant and I'll be gutted if I am not. I think we've done it as plenty of 'baby dancing' but still have a niggling doubt.

I tried Nami-Nami's Rhubarb muffins; they were really nice - thinking of making her apple muffins some time this week also. I will have to go onto her page and write a wee review after this. I also made the cookies I made for Valentine's Day for Keith on Saturday; however added a bit too much cocoa powder so they were not as nice. Will post link separately. I also made shortbread - Will post yet another link separately and put pics up on flickr account.

Today, Phoenix and I met Emma and Dean for a play date (How American!) at the park. Phoenix walked most of the two odd miles to Blantyre with only a few carries from me. I'm really pleased - the boy seems to have good stamina. I got the bus home as Phoenix was knackered - he fell asleep on the bus! He's still asleep now on the couch; 2.5hrs later so thinks it's safe to say he's out for the night.

Plans for this week - Mothers and Toddlers tomorrow, swimming lessons on Wednesday and then get this house gutted Thursday.

Will log off now!
Luv
Nat
